Mentoring can be a critical component of successfully supporting youth career engagement and workforce development by increasing industry knowledge and guiding them toward the necessary skills and work experiences that allow youth to succeed in a job and advance on a career path.
Sometimes youth just need to know what opportunities are out there, and what better way than to connect with someone that has that experience and knowledge!
Consider joining EYN’s Pathways to Employment Success Path Finder Mentor Network to answer a one-off email from a teen exploring occupations, and depending on the connection made, build a professional mentoring relationship with that teen and continue to help guide them along their employment path!
Career Coach/Mentor volunteers commit to sharing their knowledge and professional expertise with youth as they explore employment paths.
