Nela has worked in the social services field for over 30 years, and has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, as well as a Head Start Management Fellowship from UCLA Anderson School of Business.  She currently serves as the Execuitve Director of Encompass, a Child development and Early Learning Organization that serves 2400 children of all abilities annually.
